The PADI Rescue Diver course builds on what you've already learned and expands your knowledge. You'll learn more about problem recognition and problem avoidance, and how to deal with problems if they do occur. You'll experience new challenges and grow from them. Most divers look back and say that this was the most challenging and important course they have ever taken.

After this course you will have the confidence, skills and knowledge to prevent or manage diving emergencies.

Prerequisite for Participation:

• At least 12 years old, be fit for scuba diving (diving medical certificate recommended).
• First aid certificate - the Emergency First Response course is recommended, which can be integrated into the Rescue Diver training.
• PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or PADI Adventure Diver with Adventure Dive Navigation or equivalent training from another diving organization

• Knowledge transfer using state-of-the-art media on topics such as self-rescue, recognizing stress in others, emergency management and required equipment
• Training in confined water or in the swimming pool
