This course is an introduction to diving for search and recovery. You will learn the techniques necessary for search and recovery, how to use special equipment such as lines or a lift bag, planning dives for search and recovery, search patterns and navigation techniques. Sounds dry - but it's a lot of fun!

Prerequisite for participation:Min. PADI Junior-Advanced Open Water Diver or PADI Open Water Diver with proof of training in U/W navigation, min. 12 years.

Theory instruction, knot workshop, 4 open water dives, PADI certification. Duration: 2 - 3 days
